Within the teacher meetings, student work is starting to be discussed. They are using the student work samples from the Common Core library to help them in developing their own common core lens and develop a better understanding of the expectations and anticipated outcomes of students locally, statewide and nationally. The samples will also serve as a guide line to help in the development of the performance tasks. As special education teachers they will be modifying, adapting and connecting this new knowledge to the Common Core Learning Standards in a way that all of our students can be successful.
